About Kimberly Fava
Kimberly Fava is a dedicated dual board-certified women's health and family nurse practitioner with 18 years of experience in women's health care and primary care. She is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care and helping patients feel heard, supported, and confident in their healthcare plan and decisions. Kimberly is a strong advocate for patient education and preventive care through evidence-based and holistic practice.
Education
Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Delta State University in 1996. After several years of nursing, she decided to advance her education by attending the University of Texas Southwestern in their Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program, graduating 2005. From there, Kimberly returned to Delta State University where she obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program where she graduated summa cum laude in 2008. Kimberly began her nurse practitioner career in Clarksdale and has recently joined Oxford Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates in February 2026.
Outside the Office
Kimberly is married to Russell Fava. They have two children: Ansley and Tanner. She enjoys traveling with her family, exercising, and reading.
Favorite thing about her job: Empowering women to learn more about their body and having a voice in their care through all stages of their life and building a trusting relationship with women from teenage years, pregnancy, and menopause.
