About Katie Sabatier, CNM, WHNP
Katherine "Katie" W. Sabatier is a dedicated Certified Nurse-Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Oxford Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates, where she has been providing compassionate care since March 2017.
Specializing in listening to women, shared decision-making, education and holistic care, Katie is committed to empowering her patients through all stages of womanhood.
Background & Education
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Katie pursued her education at the University of Georgia for her undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia.
She continued her training at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where she obtained her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, graduating Cum Laude in 2013.
It was during her time in D.C. that she met her husband, Charley, who is from Oxford, Mississippi. They moved to Oxford in 2016, blending their lives and passions in this vibrant community.
Practice Philosophy
Katie's attraction to the medical field, particularly women's health, stems from her desire to provide excellent care during vulnerable life stages—from the first period to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum through menopause.
In her practice, Katie offers a range of services, including birth control and contraceptive care, such as IUD insertion and Nexplanon placement, ensuring that women receive comprehensive and tailored care. She is not offering full OB care and delivery at this time.
With her extensive background and a passion for women's health, Katie Sabatier continues to make a significant impact in the lives of her patients and the broader Oxford community, fostering an environment of understanding, collaboration, and holistic care.
Personal Life
Katie is married to Charley Sabatier, an engineering teacher at Oxford High School. They are busy parents to four energetic children: Keith, Ruby, Eva, and Whitley. They share a passion for sailing that led them to start Blackjack Sailing on Sardis Lake.
Katie's favorite part of the job is witnessing the transformation in her patients after an appointment as they leave feeling better about themselves, less anxious and full of hope. She cherishes the long-term relationships she builds with women through their gynecological care.
