Practice & Philosophy

Previously, Dr. Harper was in private practice with Memphis Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates and served on the DeSoto Surgery Center Medical Advisory Board. In addition, she is a board-certified Fellow of ACOG.

Growing up in a family of physicians, Dr. Harper was inspired by how her mother and grandfather blended compassion with clinical expertise to help those around them. Her mother's battle with breast cancer deeply influenced her decision to pursue a career in medicine.

Although Dr. Harper initially considered oncology, it was during her OB/GYN rotation in medical school that she discovered her true passion for providing preventative care and supporting women through all stages of life.

Dr. Harper views her role not only as a physician but also as a partner in her patients' health and well-being. From the teenage years to retirement and beyond, she feels privileged to accompany women on their health journeys, celebrating milestones and providing guidance through challenges.

Best Advice for Women

Her best advice for women? "Take the time to take care of yourself." Dr. Harper knows how easy it is for women to prioritize the health and needs of others, but she urges her patients not to neglect their own health.

Whether it's a routine check-up or seeking treatment for a specific condition, self-care is the first step in maintaining overall health and well-being. She enjoys taking care of herself by prioritizing time for regular exercise, yoga, time with friends and family, and travel.
